Weekend Attire

 Outfit 1 Details:

H&M Lace Shirt (old) | Ruche Eventide Marled Cardigan  | Paper Bag Trousers (old) | Lotta from Stockholm Peep Toe Clogs | Anne Klein Satchel
All that I want to do every weekend is just lie around in my pajamas and do absolutely nothing. However, I know that if I do just that, I will regret not having done something fun and exciting later in the week.
I always find that the earlier that I manage to get dressed, the more likely that I am to get out of the house and actually do something. Even though I want to feel comfortable throughout the day, I also want to make it seem like I actually put some effort into my outfit. Luckily, over the years I have been able to
find clothes that are both comfortable and stylish at the same time. This makes getting dressed and out the door less challenging. Check out some of my recent weekend outfits:

weekend attire
I wore this outfit to brunch while my best friend Laura was in town last weekend. After brunch in Hollywood, we went on a mini excursion and made stops in Silverlake and the Griffith Observatory, before we got back to Pasadena. I wore these paper bag trousers because I wanted to be as comfortable as possible while we were running around town; these trousers are structured, but loose enough to be comfortable. I also wore this lace tee from H&M because I often feel that incorporating lace makes a casual outfit look just a bit more dressy.

Outfit 2 Details:

Madewell Sweater (old) | H&M Shorts (old) | White Mountain Heels (old)

This weekend was much more laid back for me, and I spent most of it in a coffee shop working. I wore these trouser shorts from H&M and a sparkly sweater from Madewell on one of my coffee runs. Even though this sweater is very sparkly and flashy, the fit is casual enough that I can pull off wearing it at various times of the day. What do you all like to wear on the weekend? Do you have a go-to outfit when you want to feel comfortable without sacrificing your personal style? I’d love to hear from you.
